This means a constant threat to human life, huge losses for the economy, and decades of demining and soil remediation.
The World Bank estimates that the full range of humanitarian demining in Ukraine will cost more than $37 billion.
Accelerating the clearing of Ukrainian territories from the consequences of the barbarism of the racist regime is one of the most important challenges of our time. The A.T.O. Charitable Foundation is launching an initiative to purchase special demining equipment to be transferred to special units of the Armed Forces, the State Emergency Service, the National Guard and the Border Guard Service.
