Center for Psychological Rehabilitation "Equilibrium"

Since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, the problem of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) has become very relevant. It is estimated that approximately 80% military personnel and a significant number of civilians experience PTSD symptoms. This is particularly true for those who have directly experienced traumatic events or witnessed military action.

According to a study by the World Health Organization (WHO) conducted in 2023:
About 10 million Ukrainians are expected to need psychosocial support as a result of the war.
Of these, 4 million people may have serious mental disorders such as PTSD.
Thus, PTSD is a serious problem in Ukraine that requires a comprehensive approach to treatment and support for victims.

Manifestations of PTSD:

Constant thoughts about the traumatic event. They arise involuntarily, dream or come back as a flashback.
Life is on high alert. Such a person instantly flares up, becomes irritated, and is preoccupied with thoughts of his or her own safety.
Avoiding mentions of the tram.
Panic attacks, a feeling of fear, shallow breathing, nausea, heart palpitations and pain behind the sternum, chronic pain, headaches, diarrhea, a feeling of tightness behind the sternum, and cramps.
Distrust, belief that the world is dangerous, problems in everyday life, alcohol, cigarette, drug abuse, relationship problems, alienation of a partner, suicidal thoughts.

Regressionology

PVSC is an author's method of restoring psychological balance, peace of mind and physical condition of both adults and children after psychological trauma. Hypnosis, regression, acceptance, psychosomatics, cognitive behavioral therapy, and transactional analysis techniques are used in PVSC. Sessions can be conducted both individually and in groups.

The HACCP is conducted in five stages:
With the help of hypnosis techniques, a sense of security is restored, and constant internal anxiety is removed
Using cognitive-behavioral therapy and hypnosis, we teach you to control and remove thoughts that cause anxiety, fear, doom, hopelessness, and powerlessness.
Using regressionology, we find the first situation in the past when such a reaction to a traumatic situation arose, accept repressed emotions such as fear, aggression, hatred, and recognize and accept new qualities that will help us live on, such as calmness, confidence, prudence, and the ability to rejoice.
Using the psychosomatics technique, we restore the functioning of the patient's organs affected by psychotrauma.
Using hypnosis techniques, we restore self-confidence, self-worth, trust in others and the world, interest in life of communication and self-development.
